The Series Will ContinueThe second book of The Cosmic Series, Something Is Coming, has now been available for over eight months. In that time, I’ve heard from many of you who’ve shared your thoughts, told me which parts were most meaningful, and even opened up about your own anomalous experiences that you found reflected in the story. To everyone who has read, bought, borrowed, loaned, recommended, or left a rating or review for these books - thank you. I’m deeply grateful for your support. I’ve had a number of people reach out asking about my writing process, though usually what they’re really asking is: When will the third book be released??? So, I thought I’d take a moment to share a bit about how I write - and what you can expect next for The Cosmic Series. My ProcessThe inspiration for The Cosmic Series seems to drift in the air, inspiration hanging in the ether. Through meditation and tuning into “the information field” (as Ray called it in Something Is Coming), I receive ideas, snippets of dialogue, and core concepts. When something feels right, it gets added to an ongoing set of notes. This part of the process I can’t rush – the story reveals itself when it’s ready. But of course these books aren’t only based on the ideas blowing in the wind. They’re also filled with references and allusions - to experiencer stories, historical and folkloric traditions, philosophy, spiritual practices, emerging science, and even some of my own personal experiences. This means that there is significant research that goes into creating these books. In this early stage, I’m constantly researching: reading books and articles, watching documentaries, listening to experiencer stories, and meditating to draw inspiration from the collective. Everything that feels right gets dumped into my notes. Once I feel that I’ve gathered enough material, I begin shaping it into a plot outline - a kind of story map that guides the rest of the process. When the structure is solid enough to build on, I dive into the first draft. For both of the first two books, this stage of writing took about four to six months. From there, I move into editing, gathering feedback from early readers, working on the book’s artwork, and preparing the final manuscript for publication, which takes another four to six months. Great, So What About Book Three???Right now, I’m in the idea-generating phase - finding inspiration everywhere and plucking it like fruit from a tree. I’m gathering these insights and adding them to the basket. I hope to begin the planning and outlining process this fall, with the goal of releasing the third (as-yet-unnamed!) installment of The Cosmic Series in the second half of 2026. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on social media as the process unfolds. I’m already so excited about the ideas I’ve collected and can’t wait to share more soon.
